Aims of the GGAT Group
One of the main objectives of the group is to ensure that members of LGBTQ+ community can access the very best in dementia care and support within their own local community.
Why Granny set up the group
Now that Granny is retired and an elderly member of the LGBTQ+ community, Granny decided that at her time of life it was fitting to give something back to her own community who in a way have been her family all her life, and with finding time on her hands she set up the group.
What are dementia and Alzheimer’s?
Sometimes this can be difficult and time-consuming, but stick with it as it is essential you get a diagnosis as soon as possible.
